If you enjoy staying in a first-class ski accommodation, then Cedar Ridge Estates vacation rental at Fernie Alpine Resort is your destination. Fernie offers some of the best skiing in North America. Located right on the mountain with ski-in/walk-out access to the Elk Chair, this four-storey, 2100 square-foot townhouse condo will enhance your vacation in Fernie.

The main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen, a large dining room table, a half bath, and a patio with a natural gas barbecue. There is a bright and colourful living room with an entertainment center (with a TV/VCR and CD stereo system), as well as your own private hot tub on the deck.

The master suite occupies the entire top floor and features a queen-size bed, an open bathroom with a two-person jacuzzi tub and stand-up shower, and a patio offering spectacular views of the newly expanded Curry and Timber Bowls.

There are two bedrooms on the third floor -- one with a queen-size bed , and the other with a double over double bunk bed and a single over single bunk. There is a full bathroom with double vanities, as well a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

This stylish unit can accommodate 10 people very comfortably, and has its own heated, two-car garage. This location is a less than two minute walk to and from the Elk Chair Lift.

Fernie Alpine Resort is becoming known as a mountain biking mecca -- with the Elk Chair operating in the summer months. Take your bike up the lift and explore radical steep declines, as well as gentle intermediate and advanced trails for all ages. Explore the Elk River area in the spring, summer, and fall. It offers great fly fishing, white-water rafting, horseback riding, hiking, and golf.

This is a fully self-contained property with many extra like its own private hot tub, outdoor gas grill, laundry equipment and soap, beach towels, chairs, library, and games, local maps, and a restaurant/dining-guide.


Our stay at the condo in Fernie was perfect for our family weekend. We found the unit it to be very spacious and equipped with everything we needed for eating, sleeping and relaxing plus there was plenty of parking with the garage. The location is quiet and yet on the ski hill where the more active in the bunch played and enjoyed hiking and mountain biking. Over all we were very satisfied with the accommodations and will consider renting again for our family get togethers.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: PROPERTY/ INVENTORY/EQUIPMENT The security deposit for the unit is $1000.00 and is due a few days before you check in. The security deposit will be refunded to you within 5 days after your stay provided that there are no claims or penalties assessed such as property, inventory and equipment that has been damaged during your stay. Please note that the Client is responsible for any damage in excess of the security deposit. (Inventory and equipment includes but is not limited to, the unit itself, furniture, fixtures, appliances, dishes, linens and effects in or about the unit and respective property.)
Any cancellation made by the Client must be in writing to the Owners. Upon receipt of same, the Owners will attempt to re-book the unit for the entire period of the cancelled booking. If the Owner is successful in re-booking the cancelled accommodation for the entire period, he shall refund all monies paid by deposit or other, less a cancellation fee of $250. If the Owner is unable to re-book the vacation period, then all monies paid for the rental by the Client to the Owner shall be forfeited to the Owner.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your rental with the outstanding balance and security deposit due 30 days prior to the first day of your stay. Payment by email transfer or bank draft are acceptable.
